Nici Sundén-Cullberg 

Nici Sundén-Cullberg is Founder and CEO of Alrik, a construction supply chain AI company working with builders’ merchants and suppliers across the UK and Northern Europe. He splits his time between London and Stockholm.

Unlike general-purpose AI and TMS providers, Alrik works only on the construction supply chain, and specifically on merchants’ transport and operations. Nici’s work centres on the day-to-day realities merchants face: planning deliveries, controlling transport costs and keeping contractors supplied on site. In 2026 the Builders Merchants Federation selected Alrik as its exclusive partner for Transport Management.

Nici believes transport is one of the most overlooked competitive advantages in merchanting. In his view, the most useful AI makes branch and yard teams’ jobs easier and leaves the decisions with them. He has spoken on construction supply chains at events including Saint-Gobain’s Sustainability Construction Talks in London.
